description:

Based on the visual interactive novel by Minori, featuring character designs by Nanao Naru.

The story revolves around the protagonist Hirono Hiro, a poor high school boy who draws shoujo manga for his living. One cold Christmas night after meeting a very strange woman in a church, who tells him that he’s going to meet someone he has to meet, his bike gets stolen by another strange girl. He runs after her and finds her collapsed on the street. Her name is Miyamura Miyako and her bag got stolen by a man on a motorbike. Soon after, they start hanging out together, enjoying highschool life. Miyako falls for Hiro pretty quickly but naturally finds a rival in his childhood friend, Shindou Kei, who has been dictating Hiro’s life since ever.

note:

the dvd release compared to the tv airing offers few more scenes in episode03, and lots of improved animation throughout. shaft also did the same with tsukuyomi. have a look at the 23 comparison screenshots.

What’s the point in comparing scrinshots with TV-rip?
Why not compare with other dvd-rips, like [bakawolf] or [henshin] (which is better, IMHO)

kusochibi, the point is to show the difference between the TV and DVD version, which is not only to show the difference in video quality, but also to show the extra features the DVD has.

Also, bakawolf’s version isn’t complete at all. And after seeing 1 second of henshin’s raw release I can guess why it would still need another release. There’s a lot of banding in it (smoothed perhaps?).
So niizk’s version is much more close to the DVD, and it has subtitles.

as far as the (stolen;p) soft subs are concerned ;) did you guys leave the translator notes as well? or is it just the sub of the ‘main’ text?

Actually I probably shouldn’t ask this, but would it be possible to email me your modified softsubs?

I already downloaded a DVDrip and was unaware the subs came in a rar file and had to be muxed manually, so now I’m stuck with a DVDrip and subs that don’t really match especially the with the translator’s notes and my monthly bandwidth limit leaves a lot to be desired. If you can’t do that, thanks anyway.
