In a winter when he was in the second grade of the high school, Yuichi was hospitalized because of hepatitis. Soon, he became so good as to be scolded by the nurse for going out of the hospital. One day, he happened to meet Rika, a girl of his age, in the next building. He was fascinated by her beauty, but she was very selfish girl. Although she led him by the nose, he began to be attracted by her. However, when Rika told him about her illness, he knew why she acted so selfish; she couldn’t live long.

  7. Actually the video quality is dissapointing. Niizk had mutch better releases than this. Does the encoder doesn’t know what the filters are ? There is a lot of noise / small artifacts which could have been avoided.

  8. actually the source offers lots of artifacts in the source and lots of banding.
pretty amusing to see how the artifacts occur, on no particular pattern like one would assume on high motion.
not much i’m gonna discuss with you here to believe it though. you either do or don’t.
personally i’d find it a pity to simply scrap away such sources, just because people do assumptions on encoding skills upon.

since dragonm still has a lossless clip i sent him once:

hope you enjoy your anime like that. D:

  9. so, is the static noise pattern part of the source or something you added to fix problems? it’s kinda like watching stuff on a dusty monitor, or wearing dirty glases, or something like that. not criticising btw, just wondering. it doesn’t bother me. I’ve experimented with enough weird filtering tricks and seen enough broken sources myself.

  10. added to hide the artifact patterns throughout, from blocks to striped artifacts and banding.
don’t approve of gradfun since it borks structure despite debanding (at least not for encoding).
